2023 June 17th,“ EVolution The “Advancing · Transformation: Exploring a Zero-Carbon Future” international teaching project on transportation vehicle design held a Results exhibition and thematic seminar at the Xiangshan campus of the China Academy of Art. Gao Shiming, the president of the China Academy of Art, attended the event, along with the project leader and the dean of the Transportation Vehicle Design Research Institute of the China Academy of Art James Hope Led by a professor.

James Hope The professor reviewed the process of conducting in-depth discussions with students during the teaching project and demonstrating the design plan through sketches, renderings, digital models, etc. He combined his rich industrial experience to share design concepts, led students to conduct basic research and data inquiry to understand the current development status of the field, and invited the team of Dr. Li Yuanzhe, a carbon emission researcher at Nanyang Technological University, to discuss the topic and think about the technology for a zero-carbon future and the feasibility of its application in transportation design. In terms of styling, he considered combining aerodynamics and power methods. Every line was repeatedly demonstrated and the details were emphatically depicted.
